I see there are some rumours around about a 375kW 7litre HSV Coupe running the LS7 engine.

I wonder how much truth is in this and if it is then hell that means Holden has really gone for broke with the power lvls.

If there were complaints about the Typhoons power then this will really get things going.

If it happens it will be a very limited run and over $120k. Can't see many young folk affording that and that's if they can get one anyway. It's probably driven by the need for it in US market more than ours due to slowing interest in the GTO. Could also be a bit of wishful thinking by the Holden fans but I'm happy to be proven wrong.

Its a hand built engine built only for the Corvette, and would be very pricey. Don't know wether HSV can get their grubby hands on it or not, maybe they will only use it if/when FPV bring out a GTHO. Which is also FPV's dillema with releasing a HO, cause as soon as they do HSV can match them power wise without having to use a supercharger which gives them a bit of one upmanship.

blown or not who cares! the only engine for a HO is the blown GT40 alloy 5.4L. They would be similarly priced to the LS7 I would imagine. Way too much for average Joe thats all I know, could only do it in a concept form and wait for feedback... Like the 427 monaro, raised for purly advertising only, gave it a rediculous price tag, never thouht anyone would actually spend the 150k to get it and then got swamped with the 50 down payments on it, suddenly the idea was scrapped, still got all they could possibly ever want in the media attention!!!
