Smile i am going on a....

summer holiday
no more worries for a week or six
fun and laughter on my
summer holiday]
lalalalalalala

well, it is actually a few weeks away yet. next christmas, mrs rsgerry and myself will be in lovely paris. from there, we will drive though switzerland to rome. a quick stop on lake geneva, a couple of nights in modena (guess where i will be going...) and then from rome to sunny london. two weeks in england...get to see my beloved arsenal play and then home to sunny perth. i cant wait.

dumb question...do LHD cars have their pedals reversed? ie accelerator, brake, clutch, or are they the same as in RHD cars, clutch on the left?

i have been told not to buy any presents for anybody, so sorry guys

Re LHD: the wiper and indicator stalks will probably be on opposite sides too. These are not always corrected in some import models to Aus, nothing like washing the windscreen every time you go to indicate.

And IF you get a chance, and have a decent rental (big brakes will help!), The mountain pass from Modena to Florence is a good drive. (Bloody hairy after siesta but!). You never know, you might see an Enzo on prova plates (factory testing). We were passed by an F40 on that road, Back in 91. and it was wearing prova plates. Magnificent.

sounds great!

im starting in london, seeing the UK, then heading over to Europe. Going to France, then Italy, over to Greece working my way round to Germany and back to England. 12 months in total.
Do yo know how much the soccer costs! it'll be worth seeing liverpool though. Hopefully be worth giving up the ED fairmont.

hey bafel. i am not 100% sure how much the soccer costs. i have a feeling it is about 30 pounds. not cheap, but well worth it. the biggest trouble is going to be trying to actually get tickets. very hard to get tickets to the big games, and someone like liverpool are sold out for just about all of their home games.
