Our Ford Dealership has taken on the Volvo car line and hired a tech, but it seemed like every car he worked on was never fixed right and multiple repeat repairs were hurting us bad! I also noticed this guy never recommended any repairs on these cars and only did what the repair order said. After about 1 month he quit

Nobody in the shop (out of about 20 mechanics) were interested in Volvo except me. I took the full-time Volvo position and went into it knowing nothing about them. It has been about 2 months now and I am really enjoying my job working on Volvo.

I have had no repeat repairs yet. I learned all about the Volvo "VIDA All-in-one" diagnostics computer and most of my time working on the cars is on this computer. I actually registered to about 3 Volvo Forums and use the archives to help me with some of the problems I encounter.

It has now come to the point that I am swamped with work and am turning well over 60 hrs per week on Volvo easily and without really busting my ass. I had a few nightmare jobs, but nothing I could not handle. I am also scheduled to go to Volvo school, but don't know when because if I am at school, who will keep up with the loads of work coming in?

Anyway, I will still continue to offer Ford support here even though I am not fixing rusty Fords anymore

It's rumoured that Ford may have Volvo up for sale.

HELLO MY NAME IS ANN, I WAS WONDERING DO KNOW THE BRAND NAME OF THE ORIGINAL TIRES THAT CAME ON TH 01 VOLVO S60 TURBO T SOMETHING. i TOOK MY CAR TO A COLLISON SHOP FOR REPAIR TO THE BUMPER ON TUESDAY I PICKED IT UP TODAY WHEN I GOT HOME THAT EVE I NOTICED THEY TOOK ALL FOUR OF MY REALLY GREAT TIRES AND REPLACED THEM WITH TRASH I HAD 17 INCH TIRES MY CAR SAT HIGH AND TIRES WERE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. i KNOW FOR A FACT THEY STOLE MY TIRES I JSU CANT REMEMBER THE BRAND NAME BUT THEY WERE THE ORIGINAL ONES THAT CAME WITH THE CAR. cAN U PLEASE HELP ME I AM GOING BACK THERE ON MONDAY AND IF THEY WONT GIVE ME BACK MT TIRES I AM CALLING THE COPS AND THE NEWS PEOPLE. Im not for sure of the original tire manufacturer but if you will look in your glove compartment, in the owners manual, sometimes the original tire warranty card will be included with the manual. From that card you should be able to see which tires came with your new car.
