i was walking around during lunch today, and as i'm walking into the parramatta westfield, i hear some guy shouting in a foreign language and some kid crying. i look and see this guy talking on the public phone, a KICKING THE PRAM his KID was in with HIS FOOT!!! needless to say, the kids started crying even more! i walk up to him and his wife and go "oi! take it easy mate!" and his wife just starts smiling and going "it's ok, it's ok"

no, it's NOT ****ing ok! i hate when people misstreat kids in any way! i am the last person a child-abuser would like to meet. most likely, i'd be the LAST person they'd meet!!

anyway, i tell them to take it easy or i'll call the cops and as i'm walking away he starts going off at me in whatever language he was speaking.

bloody hell! this is nothing racist, but when will people realise that some thing are not acceptable in the civilised world?! this is not "the old country" - women and kids are not there to be abused and put down. it's just that i have seen things like this happen time and time again.

I agree with you all the way. Can't stand kids, wives, or really anyone being abused by a bigger, tougher, etc.

You got to be careful though...he might be packing and drop you. I have interviened a gang of bullies on a smaller neighbor kid. Heck, one kid [12 or 13] laid into me like I was one of his buddies. Drug the little bastard to his house, by the arm, kicking and screaming. Confronted parent, mom was only one home, and she told me to take my hands off him before she called police. It was none of my business !!!!!

I walked away, didn't return insults she was throwing. Now I know where the kid got it from. Never heard anymore.
BUT, the little kid isn't being ganged up on anymore. His parents thanked me. And the rest of the gang is scared to death of me.

Guess I accomplished something.

Its horrible that people can mistreat others and justify it to deem acceptable. What has this world been coming to anyhow....?
