Here in Qld I noticed that in the Courier Mail's (only real paper on Qld) Motoring section, on Saturday 7/12, all the Ford dealers adds had NO pictures of BA's. Yet the Holden dealers were already advertising the special deals on next years Lumina series.

Last weekend they had all the adds with plaudits regarding the Car of The Year win - this week nothing.

Do they have so few available that they have stopped advertising???

A sign of the times I think.

Lazy dealership marketing, plain and simple. If they are doing bugger all changes to their ads on a weekly basis they should be shot! At the very least they should update the car images to be all BA, and get rid of the AU shots.

Hell, our company advertises in 6 papers weekly, tiny little ads, but we spend ages each week making them look perfect.

I think you missed my point. Over the past few months there's been plenty of adds for the new BA. Then last weekend, none. 4 or 5 different dealers usually have full or half page adds with the BA as pride of place - now none.

Seems very strange to me
