I found this interesting
DaimlerChrysler's 'Eurostar' factory in Graz, Austria, is to be sold to Canadian automotive group Magna Steyr. Magna Steyr already works out of Graz, building the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Mercedes G-Class and M-Class under contract for DaimlerChrysler, and the Chrysler PT Cruiser is also made there. However, European sales of the PT Cruiser have not reached expectations, and Chrysler is to move the vehicle's production to Mexico as part of a large cost-cutting exercise. Magna Steyr is to expand in Graz and build new production lines to make the forthcoming X3 4x4 for BMW.
Why was it interesting.
1 I have never heard of Magna Sterr before.
2 That the X3 thinking is so far advanced
