I work for a Building company so I know a fair bit about apprentices. My advice would be to work hard at everything, listen to everything your boss says..but don't take any crap. You will have to do crappy jobs a lot early, but that is the nature of it all. Get through that and keep trying to learn as much as you can.
Would you like to change your name to Homer Junior? People can call you Hoju.
Congratulations on your apprenticeship, your future looks bright.

Hope all goes well for you. I had a traineeship through group training and they totally screwed me over. They make out like their there for you incase of problems with the employer etc, but in my situation they did nothing and didnt follow-up with placing me with another employer with 4 weeks to go from completing the 12months.
Not good for me as i was then on the dole with a wedding to pay for and no cert III.
