I dare to race 2 HSV 255 VX one manual and one auto, the third one was an STI.
For all the 220KW XR8 owners here, get your guts together and race those 255 HSVs, you WILL win. I had a very very very good run, my humble 195i car hanged with a 255 manual HSV till 100, then started to lose it. Mine is auto.
The other thing, Motor mag mentioned the new TE50 and the 255 HSV are faster till 100, 400 than the STI: Bull S!! Not a chance! Nothing can beat those STIs, even a Porsche would be scared.
What i find hard to believe is that you HUNG with a LS1 clubbie. With only 195kw and a heavier car compared to the LS1 with the iron 5 litre there is no way your car can keep up and dont give this low down torque of the five litre crap. And dont come back saying typical holden supporter as your talking utter sh!t. For such a Ford supporter who reckons fords are so much better than Holdens you went and bought a Holden, go figure.
Also there is no place for people like you on these types of forums who talk crap for the hell of it. This a great forum and don't bring it down with your 'stories'

CSV LS1 Whoever you are, your reply is one of the rudest I've ever read, reminds me with www.fastlane.com.au which I think it will just suit you.
If you live in Sydney and you know a HSV 255 clubsport with a plate number EAT IT, go and ask him if he raced someone on 26th May night. I think he will remember as I had a chat to the guy afterwards to check whether he had a manual or auto.
For god's sake do it before you start that sort of replies.
Can't remember the other clubsport plate number he came from behind I was near RPA hospital lights on Parramatta rd, it was manual and he was revving it a bit before it went green.
As for time slips? I'm still waiting for EC meeting the last one was cancelled for rain. I had my car for few wks now and already done 4000km!Can't get my butt off it.

Jem, I just wanted to know how you think. Tell me, how many HSV, XR8, WRX, STI, 200SX, Integra, 300ZX, S2000 owners do you think go and get time slips for their cars?? what are their ratio compared to the people who actually do it?? .1% maybe????To be honest with you I never thought those videos of drag racings are for real except after I signed in to this forum!!!!!!
