No it wasn't a GT. The rear wing was very tall and under the rear left light it said HO. Also from a small glimpse of the front it had light covers or somethiing.

I think Alan Moffat did make some specials during the early 90s. The king was the AM-HO8 (AM=Alan moffat) which ran a blown windsor, making around 227kw I think. Ran mid six's to 100. Nothing special today I supoose but pretty good next to 185kw VR clubsports (which I think were the tuffest HSV's around at the time, the 5.7 not being realised at that point). I've got a road test somewhere, I can dig it up if you really want.

They actually had just 215Kw, but all it had was a blower. Everything else was stock including the exhaust.:oo1:
Ive got an old 'Car' mag where they compare it to a 220Kw CSV Corsa.
The AMHO kit cost $16000 all up (suspension, wheels, bodykit, leather interior and blower) the CSV 220Kw package cost $27500 (OUCH!!)

Both were about as quick as each other.

One of our members of the XR8-XR6 Owners Club of Victoria has a ED Moffat XR6 HO with supercharger. He bought the car new. The car has travelled very low K's and is a beautiful example of this model. It was on display at the recent Tickford All Family Day.
