I saw my first suicide by pistol today

I was at work today and I was called over by a fellow co-worker to watch a video on his laptop. Usually this is very common. I show all the guys Probe racing videos or funny videos I come across on the internet. It's all part of the fun we have at work. So I walk over to my co-worker's desk and he plays the video for me and two others. There is a man who is arguing with a lot of people. It's in black and white. He suddenly pulls a pistol out of a bag. Then he tries to calm everyone and tells them that he doesn't want anyone to get hurt. He puts the gun in his mouth skyward and fires one round. He then drops to the ground still in an upright position. I notice the gaping hole on his head first. Then I notice blood pouring out of his mouth like a fountain. Someone called for a doctor, then an ambulance. I doubted the doctor would be able to do much. After watching the video I went back to my desk and tried to keep from throwing up. I maintained. I just don't know how my co-worker got so desensitized that he could watch the video over and over and not feel sick. He showed it to all of our close co-workers that entered the office. I could not watch it again. I had a hard enough time even listening to the audio. I heard later that is was some solicitor from Pittsburg that called a press conference based on some accusations that decided to do himself at the press conference.

And NO, I don't have a copy of the video to post for you guys.

Why the hell couldn't they show me a video with a woman putting a cucumber in her mouth? Oh I forgot. That destroys the fabric of life.

I'd prefer to wait a few years. I will see all the blood and gore and crap I can handle then. I really don't feel the need to rush it along.

At the SF Auto Show, the CHP booth had 3 albums full of crash pics and really damaged bodies. Just the thought of seeing those people is horrifying. Cars I can look at, but not people. Shudddddder....
