What's so special about the Monaro? It's only a bloody POS with 2 doors for Gods sake.
When the GTHO comes out they better have it in every magazine, every newspaper and every billboard because that's a real car.
The only place the Monaro should be on is on toilet paper.

Not a bad looking car as with plenty of others IMO. Publicity is deffinatly too much now its all old news!!

It does'nt break any records in design, dynamics, performance etc. Still uses the same engine, transmition and diff specs thats been in Commode sedans for how long now? yet in atleast the tested Holden versions are slower than their cheaper and more roomier sedan sisters! It does have the name Monaro though

While I agree with you guys about the over-hyped munro, you have to hand it to GM, they really do know how to market their products.

To be honest I prefer the look of the 4 door Commo in any case over the Monaro. I hope the AV steals the media limelight.

Won't that create media hype - in the past GT & GTHO always had it over monaro and it will again.

i think the letters GTHO (on a car which can live up to the name of course) will create a media frenzy! it should! if it doesn't then there's something wrong with people nowadays. monaro will never be what GTHO is today, even 30 years on.
