I am a Sydneysider, and, WITHOUT SUPERCHARGING the vehicle, how can I get some more power for my buck? Where can I go, and how much am I expected to be charged.
I want to acheive a minimum 200kw out of the car.
Re-worked heads, exhausts, unichip etc.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
Ta muchly!
(Oh, and the engine is a 4.0 I6, not the V8.)

Extractors, exhaust, and cam. Should be good enough for 200kw. Oh and a 5speed conversion would help alot also.

If I may ask why not supercharging, you will get the power a lot easier and have a lot more everywhere else as well.
If the reason is insurance then check the insurance with all other underbonnet mods, you may think you are getting cheaper insurance but it will be a lot more expensive if they walk away when you need them the most.
Have the JMM cars been proven on a dyno or 1/4? There was some doubts over their packages a while ago.
As martin has said, about the best mod for the I6 is putting an M5 behind it, you should have no insurance dramas and it will feel a lot better to drive.

I say he's fair dinkum but people need to have a chance at making their mark especially in the performance engineering industry! When I have the cash I'm going to get a DEVI done as a starting point.

No car ATM but I am looking at one...
I don't want to say which one otherwise someone else might buy it!
Get NOS mate ,whack a type R sticker on it but there only good for 10 kw a sticker , neons, cut springs, big subwoofer mate
thats just about all i can think off for the moment
200kws at the wheels i guess cam heads extractors would be a good start
dont go into a shop and say i want 200kws at the wheels dyno proven unless the shop has the mingeantor in it cause the dyno settings can be messed around with to get huge figures

Thanks for the responses guys; sorry Im a bit late on the reply.
No, I don't want force induction or any charger units. Why? Because insurance will slaughter me if I do so. At least the other ways can be a bit more 'subtle'.
I'll be happy if I can acheive the 200kws at the fly.
