had my little trip to melbourne and had a great time. watched the wrestling, loved it. wnadered around melbourne and suburbs and loved it. truly a great city, and this was about my fifth visit. got to the ford discovery centre (asked for flick but she wasnt around at the time) and loveds the place. really great spot. just needs an escort (see visitors book :-) )

also got to meet some of the boys from the forums on the great ocean road run. really great to meet the ones i got to speak to (fm, jack travis, csv ls1 (i think...) amongst others...sorry, got to meet so many i cant remember everyone). a great bunch of guys.

got to drive a hired corolla around too....not a bad car. nothing special, and in manual form, a reasonable performer. not really my cup of tea, but it was only for a week.

some points on melbourne drivers...

red lights facing you mean you must stop. green means go.

if you are not overtaking...GET OUT OF THE RIGHT LANE!!!! i thought perth drivers were bad, but nothing on the victorians.

to the driver of the black celica in clifton hill...give way to trams, they are much bigger and the bloke driving doesnt own it....

the only other thing left to say is this....god it was cold. the whole time was absolutely freezing.

had a great time there and grewat to meet some of the guys...hope to see you again soon.

I was in Melbourne also on the weekend and all I can say is how damn cold was it!!!
The drive from the outskirts of Melbourne to the outskirts of Sydney was great. Everyone was driving so well. They would move to the left and no one was driving like an idiot. Can't say much for Sydney or Melbourne city drivers though.

I was waiting for the Mrs at Spencer St station and I couldn't beleive the wrestling fans. I wish I had bought tickets.

Were there more people at the wrestling than Kylie???
