Information needed...(strobe lights?)

I'm after some info about those strobe fashing light. How they work, what needed, where to buy, how much?...etc.

It's not for my car, I'm working on another project and the lights would be ideal.

Places like Dick Smith http://www.dse.com.au, Jaycar http://www.jaycar.com.au/, Oatleys http://www.oatleyelectronics.com/ and Altronics http://www.altronics.com.au/ sell both DIY strobe kits (best for what you want to do) and ready to use mains powered strobes. Altronics has 24 volt DC strobe lights in red and orange and a Red Yellow Evac pair.

HAHA

Seriously it is for my railway trike. To be acredited it must have a visual warning device.

Albert - you can get strobes from supercheap.

very good price too..

Strathfield have the same brand (aerpro) and sell them at slightly more than double what supercheap sell them at.
