Hi to all Blue Oval Fans
I'm 22 and have saved up enough money to get a decent EL-EFXR6, but I have been gettin insurance quotes and all off them have been $3000 and over, I really wana get my XR6 but at that price to insure it I can not afford it.
I'm just wondering if any1 knows of a good and cheap insurer or should I just look 4 a normal manual EL-EF and fix it up.
Thanx
i'd personally get a fairmont or something, and work from there.
if ur after close to XR6 performance then get a EFII - EL Fairmont Ghia. it has all the XR bits + luxuries :)
insurance is always a hassle.
my insurance was $1800 for an EF GLi with AAMI last year. you should be able to do better then that, but dunno where to start.

No car ATM but I am looking at one...
I don't want to say which one otherwise someone else might buy it!
If you are worried about the cost of insurance, buy a car that is cheap to run and insure, like a 5sp falcon gli , work on your no claim bonus rating, and in a couple of years, upgrade it for the XR falcon.
