Does anyone know if Ford got the name from the pursuit ute from MAD MAX if so id would be pretty awesome to see a special from ford called THE INTERCEPTOR. anyway just a thought

The word Persuit has been used by Ford for a while. XP donks for instance were called Persuits and Super Persuits.

Don't know what the deal is, but Jensen used to have a car called the Interceptor but i'd imagine Ford could use the name nowadays.

if they did bring one out, i reckon it should be a two door to rival the monaro, Ford Interceptor Two door coupe, id by one!
