Thumbs down Interesting Find

I was at a local card shop today getting a birthday car for a friend, and I spotted these.

I'm sick of spotting this sorts of things everywhere I look, but not finding anything Ford related even when I'm looking for it!

Would have been great to have found a Ford birthday card for my mate...

sorry about the crap quality pics.. but I took them with my trusty pocket "spy" cam :s6:

Oh and btw.. there where 27 different cards that I spotted. These are just 4 of them.

Re: Interesting Find

Makes you wonder if they slap together those HSV's just to support their marketing junk. I know how you feel, I went looking for some Ford Doona cover/pillows/sheets for my 6yo and all I saw was heaps of HSV crap.
So he got dinosaurs instead.
Still, proud to say he's a Ford boy through and through. Gotta love my son, born to drive Fords :)

Cheers,

Re: Interesting Find

You can get Holden/HSV/HRT Merch for just about anything. Although one product that Ford/FPR needs to especially take notice of is:

Warning: A bit saucy!

Re: Interesting Find

Pisses ya off don't it, i've been flat out convincing my g/f's lil brother that fords are best. I finally got him to buy some ford gear at the clipsal this year, helped by the fact he's a lowndes fan. When he went shopping for new pajamas the other day and he couldn't find anything decent Ford badged so his daft holden lovin mother bought him stupid HSV ones. Makes me quite ill.....

"Surround yourself with things you love" yeah, like a FORD...More of Holden's advertising campain telling everybody how great they are... Luckily my little brother is learning to RIGHT way and is supporting Ford just like his old brother and dad..

Yep, very ill! I'm lucky, my wife knows only Ford stuff allowed in our house. She knows her Fords from her Holdens and that the blue oval is best. (it has taken me 6 years to convert her)
Still, I guess the PJ's could be usefull for polishing the Ford now couldn't they?

Cheers,

Holden. The hoares of the auto manufacturing industry. Is there anything they won't do to make a quick buck. Marketing over substance.

Re: Interesting Find

My Girlfriend is one of those brainwashed Holden sheep, has been ever since High School.

Anyway, coming up on 2 years and she knows that Holden is bad mmmkay? Although she isn't converted yet she just lives with it methinks.

Especially at the start of our relationship she used to go nuts if I said anything about Gen3 issues etc.

Possibly one of the best moments was a mate who owns a VT taking my AU for a drive and coming back saying he loved it over his VT. (Especially the VT steering)

I'm not pissed off that they have so much stuff out there, it's smart of them.

What gets to me is that Ford aren't doing the same thing. I'm a person that buys on impulse alot of the time, and my money would go 10 times as fast if I kept finding little things like this all the time.
