I can't take all the credit for the image, it was sent to me by someone who attended the holden and ford show in sydney today, that was one of the newfalcon magnets they had there.

So does that mean that the V8's will either be 24 or 32 valves.
Which would rule out a SOHC engine, meaning that we would have different variants of 5.4 DOHC V8.

Looks that way doesnt it. its pretty pointless having a 3V Head on a Six. It only gives you 18 Valves, why not add one more and have a 24V Head. It would make it breath better, we will probaly find its a V8 Head. But the Twinspark does look interesting. But where is the Injection Hole ???? Hmmm very interesting.

Lets not forget that the Non-XR V8's will use the SOHC 3 Valve head while the XR8 will use the same DOHC heads found on the Mustangs.

The SOHC head uses a centre mounted spark plug (as seen in the picture) and I am not sue why there is a provision for another hole. May not be for a twin spark though.

The sixes will be 24v DOHC jobbies.

Injectors are in the manifold. If they were in the combustion chamber they wouldn't last very long...

It looks like the 3V head of the base model V8's (as per the F-series trucks). As some of you guys have pointed out the twin cam six will most likely be 4V.
