weird.

I wonder how much they had to cut to get the el front to go onto the XD/XE/XF wagon ??

I've seen it on EB's, but never XFs (or what ever the rear is)

Is it a XH Front or EL? Im guessing if its an XH the conversion wouldnt have required too much work??

If you guys look in the current Street Machine Mag, there is a similar conversion there with a silver ute. It isn't too much work, but it has to be done real carefully to get all the line to match or it looks shocking.

Yeah what Martin said is true, he must have taken teh front half out of an XH ute with the XR front and fitted it to the X Series wagon. Goes to show that all ford parts are kinda interchangable.

I'd never do that to a car. The most i'd do is put an EB2 style grill on an XF if i had one.

Yep they've used the XH front panels for sure.. but that bonnet has got my attention. Remember Gaz I was saying how the EF bonnet has sleaker lines than the XH... :oo1: It's got me beat how they've done that.

The bump in the XH bonnet was to clear the radiator from memory,
so maybe they`ve lowered the radiator somehow to fit the EL bonnet?

Or maybe the radiator isn't in the way if it has a 4.1 six or V8.
XH's had the later model OHC MPFI 4.0l from the EA-EL falcons.

The wierd part being that the EF bonnet bolts on differently to the XH one. The XH bolts on the same as the XD-E-F-G model falcon. The EF also is a different shape at the rear of the bonnet.
