well i couldnt see jack shit at that site, maybe cos it needed java or something like that.. all that came up was a blank kind of tv box thing..
Anyway, it doesnt take much imagination to see why the iraqis might like holdens... esp the gen3... They see the oil use of holdens engines as reason to expand their oilfields productioin capacity. hence holden sales up, iraqi national oil sales increasing for sure..

Is that what he was saying??

Im not trying to wind you up at all, but if you think its lame why dont you add some non lamenessness to the situation? I couldnt see the stuff that they were talking about to see its lameness cos of some computer hitch apparantly but someone obviously thought it was worth mentioning.. what gives?

I dunno what this is about holden oil use....
I've owned a few Holdens for a while now and never had a problem with oil use.....just like any other motor, if they are maintained properly there is no problem with them.

I still like the Falcons better tho :)

well, i rebuilt a Gen III the week before easter, and 'matrix style' dodged another Gen III rebuild last week, (there were probably another 3 rebuilds done in those two weeks not including mine) and we have two in pieces in the workshop at the moment waiting for pistons to be fitted to rods, and thats not counting the VN/R motors that used to use a bajillion gallons of oil- so much so that holden actually re-wrote the spec sheets to say that 5L of oil pre 7500km was actually ACCEPTABLE oil consumption!!!!

anyway, enough holden bagging (though you all know how much i love it!!!)
