Well "Gone in 60 seconds" was a great remake of an old film, but the soon to be released "Italian Job" may not be so. I loved the original, but the new film is set in LA, BMW mini's will be used and Marky Mark is the star...


I'll be first in line to see it, but whether it'll be as good as the original, I just don't know. I have just finished watching the original and thought about the time I tried to do a Paddy Hopkirk in my old mini. Didn't quite work out though.

please tell me you are kidding. if it is set in LA, how can it still be the italian job (unless they use venice beach...but i dont think that counts...). and as fopr the star...WTF??? marky mark???? a one hit wonder from 5 years ago should not be considered. i just get the feeling this could end up a clone of the fast and the furious.

the film should be shot in italy. no contest. the star could be someone like ewan mcgregor...the minis and i am not against, bu the car would have to be small. mind you, the british car industry is virtually non-existent now, so any cars would have to cone from somewhere else
