Its official - Falcon outsells comdoor

Total falcon sales put them in front of total commode sales for the first time in 5 years....as reported in this morning's news.

Even though commode sedan sales nudged in front, the utes put the blue oval in front.

It’s still too close to call.

Remember that our figures are still pretty much minus the XR8 (which had only started delivery in February), but Holden’s cab-chassis ute will bring the ute figures up to about the same as Falcon when it comes on stream soon.

Ford counter attack with the Hi-Ride ute, but it’s all going to depend on whether the Cross8 and 4WD commercial variants come with the Commodore badge or not.

LWB cars are separate, as is Monaro and the FPV / HSV production numbers.

The race is far from over and Holden aren’t going to give up without a fight, but at least we’re no longer 3 laps behind with no chance of taking to the leaders in the final sprint.

Cheers
Jason
