Its Started BA XR6 sales

Well following on from my original purchase, I heard today that two other places around here have placed orders for BA XR6's to replace 2 x S pack commy's.

I just knew they would all follow, that the problem with Government fleet cars, once someone comes up with a good idea, everyone follows and eventually floods the market and reduces resale accordingly, although It will take a few years as it has done with the S pack Commy.

And to add insult to injury, one of the guys ordered his car last Thursday and collects it tomorrow morning White, Auto.

Mine it still yet to be built although the dealer does have a SIDO.

Still about 57 people who will sign up to replace the S packs and SS's with Xr's once resale proves itself.

Thanks BOF for doing his part to assist BA XR sales in WA. : ), notched up 3 now.

3 down, 57 to go. Same thing happened at my wife's work. Her boss ordered an XR6 in Feb last year. The ordering guy was smart enough to get her to wait for the BA, instead of getting the AU3, so she was the first BA XR6 sold to government fleets in Canberra. Now, there are at least another 10 XRs in the building carpark, including one XR6T! And the CEO of the department drives a CV6 Coupe (Monaro) - she's now been outgunned and outnumbered by XRs!

Nice one tiger it's good to see your helping Ford get fleet sales back on board. Realistically fleets are the only people actually buying VY's right now which is why they as selling quite well (considering... ) and Ford are getting heaps of Fleet interest in the new falcon which is great.

I can't believe a CEO bought a CV6. I might understand if it was a CV8 but a CV6, what the...? Supercharging the buick is like pissing in the wind really :s3

57 following resale information... WOOHOO. Ford has already smashed the XR sales (AU compared to BA) and it's only going to get better.

But one thing I don't understand is why there are no manuals, shouldn't it be the otherway around?

And September for a custom XR6T, hahaha *ouch*
