You wouldn't know if it's the original engine. If you think it's the rigy dige block,
get the year model, confirm it's carby fed and I'll post the answer tomorrow.

look at the rocker covers

if at the bottom of them, they have 3 bolts, its a windsor
if the botton has bot 4 bolts, its a clevo

(althogyht it could be a boss, windsor block with clevo heads lol)

Re: Iv searched everywhere....is it a 302 or 351 (w or c)??

just be very sure - F-trucks had heaps of different engines over the years, inculding oddball stuff like 351M's etc, not to mention what might've been fitted in the last 30 or so years. For $400 with a 9" diff, it's a bargain anyways.

As the man said - count the rocker cover bolts... also, Clevo's have a 90' thermostat housing on the block, Windsor's have it on the manifold. 351/400M's are virtually identical to Clevo's (i think!), except they have small differences, like the oil pressure guage down near the oil filter instead of up near the firewall.

Re: Iv searched everywhere....is it a 302 or 351 (w or c)??

Hrm... my bad! I just assumed that most 80s & newer F-trucks had Windsors of varying capacities in them. All the ads I see for F-trucks have Windsor engines in them.

Please ignore my first post then

Re: Iv searched everywhere....is it a 302 or 351 (w or c)??

thanks for the replies, although Im late, turned out to be a 302 clevo, which I already have. It has a C4 and open 9",
also if anyone wants to know, to tell the difference between a 302 and a 351 have a look behind the passengers side exhaust manifold, the should be a 1 or a 2 stamped on the block, 1 is for 351 and 2 is for 302.

thanks for the help anywayz
