I've made up my mind and have decided to place an order for a AV XR8 some time in January :s6:
I haven't decided on the colour i want yet but i heard that Ford are releasing some groovy colours like yellows, purples and oranges similar to what Holden has.
Herrod modifications will be a definate and a pair of 19" wheels to spice it up a bit.
Oh yeah....it'll be supercharged as well
the only things is, you might want to rethink the wheel size. 19s wouldn't do a great deal more than 18s, and they'd be easier to break. it would look great though! :D

Well Done Mate!!!! Hope the time doesn't drag out though between time you place order, and the time of release and delivery. It will be a great car, I'm sure of that!
Originally posted by WINGED I will be right next to you but dont realy want to buy series 1 what do you think.
Looks like there will be a few of us lining up for that brand new AV...I'm one of 'em!
I don't know about the normal deterant of series 1 cars for this machine, I'm hoping there won't be many dramas.
Think of it more as an ED-EF upgrade, not another EA or AU.
The only thing that could be considered new might be the mechanicals, but if it's the 5.4 as we know it, it has had a fair run in the States already. I'm not going to hold off, this time next year I'll be making my decisions on what exactly I'm getting.
On another note, as stated by EF, new XP style buttons look good.
