It's allright, I like Sledgehammer on VH-1. I don't belive any Movie, TV show, and music group should be responsible for the stupidity of others who try the same thing.

The show kicks ass... It is really funny sometimes, but other times you can tell they are just begging for a laugh. I think the show is going down hill right now because you can only do so many stupid & painful things... I wouldn't blame Jackass for dumbasses actions. There is a Warning at the beginning and I think maybe at the end. Besides, if anyone is dumb enough to try the stuff they do on Jackass they deserve to get hurt.
You know, MTV and VH1 used to actually play Music Videos. Honest! I was there!
As for the Jackass show, my opinion is that it is NOT entertainment. Are they responsible? To an extent, yes. Saw a blurb recently where cops were looking for two motorcyclists who were racing on the freeway, complete with videotape, (for a Jackass audition) while popping a wheelie. Hey, if a person wants to put his own life in danger, more power to him. But when he includes those around him, it isn't right. :dead:

the Jackass show is just stupid funny. but i have to agree with xtonkax that some of the crap on there is ignorant and should not be done, but they can not be responsible for the actions of others that are watching. that is the person(s) doing it.
if they are stupid enough to watch it then try it then they deserve what happens to them, but dont blame the guys on tv. Evil Kenivel jumped crap all the time. did we blame him for the idiotic stunts kids did with their motorcylces? no we just chocked it up to a learning experience. it was all over the TV just like this is now. I remember seeing that crap all over the TV growing up. and i never did it. They had the disclaimers and people still tried to do his stunts or stuff similar.
i remember guys i rode with set up ramps to jump over the tracks here where the trains ran and would try to jump up an over the trains. They did it... i did not. call me a chicken ****, but you know what they did it cause they wanted to. kids are kids and they are more concerned with what their peers have to say about them than what they want to do.
damn that went off the wall. guess i will stop now
