Nasser did one thing right. Gave the go ahead for the new T-Bird. Of course it's almost $20,000 more than what it was. From what I've read it wasn't only the Firestone issue that did him in. He also used up 2/3's of Fords 9 billion dollar nest egg to make new model cars better.:crazy1: Also the rating system he started for his mnangers was way off, to say the least. I've read in here that the guy's and gal's Downunder loved him. Wish most of us in the states felt the same way. While Nasser was CEO Ford stoped making these fwd cars the Probe, Contour and soon the Cougar. So, If I want a fwd Ford I have to buy a Focus or Taurus. Not much of a choice is it. As far as rwd we have a new T-Bird but one has to be wealthy to afford that one, and the Escape. Oooooo another SUV, like the world doesn't have enough of those already. :s6:

My first car was a 67 Mustang Coupe, 2nd one was a 67 Cougar XR-7, 3rd one was a 66 Mustang Coupe. Why did I get rid of these cars for ? I know why, because I'm stupid, stupid, stupid.
