well i ordered a set of Jim Mock Motorsport extractors last week, posted the cheque on wednesday 16th. i also ordered a set of their 'special' magic plugs.
cost was $460 all up, including postage.
they rang me when they got my cheque, and told me when they were going to post the extractors, and when i should get them.
they also told me if i didnt have them by that time i could ring them, and they would supply all neccesary phone numbers and package numbers and i could ring TNT and find out where they were.
i got them today, and i think they look great, one pipe has a small dint in it, probably from transit, its only tiny so im not fussed.
i have the car booked in for exhaust and extractor fitment for wednesday next week.
they also kindly (and unexpectedly) supplied all neccesary mounting bolts, washers, gaskets, and laser/plasma cut flanges to bolt up to the extractors and to the first mounting point after the cat.
when i was on the phone to them i felt at ease, not like an idiot or anything, (as a lot of places do when you ring them and ask a lot of questions) i spoke to both Jim and Brendan, and i could tell how great their enthusiasm for their job was, and how willing they were to answer my questions, like they had all day to talk.
i also liked the way they rang me when they got my cheque and told me what was happening, most places you have to wait and wait and wait, then chase it up yourself.
so, they prices are a bit steep, but the 'buying experience' was great, the real test will come after i get it all welded togather, run it in and bolt it to a dyno - if my car dont start actually making some power i will sell it and get a ED XR6 wagon!!!!
