Now that the hotter weather is on its way (for those of us who live in the southern hemisphere anyway), you might want to give your computer a good clean out on the inside and make sure there isn't a layer of dust covering the components. If you don't feel confidant opening up your computer and removing all the dust, get someone who is good with htese things to do it for you. LuvinmyEB and I just cleaned out the insides of our computers, after one of them decided to shut down yesterday due to overheating.

The amount of dust inside that has built up in the last 2 months or so was shocking!

Which reminds me, what is everyones favourite season?

spring definately, pretty warm, not too hot, and not too cold!

I work in IT and all of the puters are in air cond rooms and less than a year old (renewed every 3 yrs), so no probs here!

Winter for me thanks! at least in the cold you can do something about getting warm... in summer there arent many ways to cool down, specially if your house doesnt have aircon - like mine!

I voted summer, I've always looked forward to it. It means Christmas, holidays, trips to the beach, night cruises and of course fishing. Did I mention sleeping completely nakie?

It used to mean slurpees and lots of ice cream too, but oh well.

Those computers were pretty gross, no wonder it shut down, I would too under those conditions.

Ahh the good old days of taking the side off the casing of your 486 and sitting a desk fan next to it for cooling.
