Hey fellas, having just recently turned 18 and got my liscence, i've been wanting to spend a little of my cash on my XF my parents bought me, it's an '85 fairmont ghia and it's got a few dints here n there that i wanna do somethin about...

so i gotta get a new bonnet and i want my car to look alright cause i'm havin it for a couple of years. My friend was tellin me about an s-pack bonnet which has scoops on it or somethin, sounded pretty cool, anyone know anything about these? or if they exist at all lol. i also read somewhere on here about XR6 headlights, i thought they looked pretty sweet on the XF's so where would i be able to get some of them and how much?

I read some other stuff about color coded bumpers n stuff, whats that?? i also wanted to get rid of the pinstripe on the side, how would i go about doin this? sorry bout all the questions, any other suggestions on makin my car lookin alright is appreciated :D.

no the spac bonnet hasnt got scoops, but you could put your own on it. there is a compnay called Twinlight that does xr6 headlights. colour coded bumpers is where the often grey prts of the bumper are the same colour as the paint job. for some more prettying up ideas check this thread out Help me make my XF that little bit nicer please!!!

thats colour coded bumpre, and the rear tail light covers, with clear indicators

xr headlights are worth 695 a pair from twinlight
XG grille looks nice, about 60 unpainted

to remove pinstripes, use ur nail, or careful with a razorblade, and a hair dryer... takes a while, also the paint there will be brighter coluor, coz it hasnt faded with the sun.

Thanks for the replies, i'm not sure what to do, i like my car but it's not in the best condition, it's done 360,000kms, and things on the inside squeak and it's pretty annoying lol, i don't know whether to keep it shitty untill i get a new car which won't be for a while or just make it look nice for now. how much would a new engine for it cost if i was thinkin of doin that, cause the 4.1 EFi i got now don't go that great, it's not in the best condition.
