If you ask me i think holden can consider themselves lucky that they didn't qualify for COTY, because when u think about it there is no chance for them to really have to compete with the BA. seeing that commodores are getting a engine and transmission upgrade in 2004 should see them fit enough for 2004 COTY. I think wheels should have punished them and let them compete in COTY so they got there asses whiped. it sort of sucks how they get another chance.
Depends on how you see it ... really it was a slap because the VY wasn't different enough to the VT/VX.
Having said that.. the COTY would have been that much sweeter if it had competed with them...but they did have a monaro
