just wondering whether i can get a mpfi conversion done around the north sunshine area. any1 know a good mechanic that will do it for a good price.

is their some were i can get the mpfi kit, i know some one on this board sells kits for $150 but thats in perth. i'm done hear in vic, melbourne

Yeah I can get you most of the parts for $190. PM me if you are interested.

I could probably *help* you do it, but I wont guarantee that it will start first go. About 25% of conversions don't start first go so there's always a risk. Mine didn't, dpk83's didn't, SPHELL's didn't. Most work out to be simple problems like a dodgy TFI module or bad timing. You'll also need to tell me what year/series your car is so I can get the right loom if you buy the parts off me. Get the wrong loom and you're up for $$$ in Auto electricians or more hard work changing it!

Go sunny for the parts and help with the labour, if you decide on a date and u do it at sunny's, id be up to come and help, i only live 2 suburbs away and am frequently in Mooroolbark anyways.
