Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

They just opened the first Krispy Kreme Doughnuts store / drive through in Scotland yesterday , another import from the USA .Today my daughter had me make the 80+ mls trip to Edinburgh to get 24 doughnuts , crazy or what ? Some even camped outside overnight to be the first in and get special prizes .There was traffic jams and queues outside the shop ever since opening . They are nice though , just going to have my second one and a cup of coffee !

If you take any home, put one in the microwave for 7 seconds and they taste like right out of the oven.

Re: Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

Krispy Kremes are excellent warm, especially when they come fresh out of the oven. I think they taste like crap when cold, though. We had one move in about 30 miles from here (near our office), it lasted about a year and a half. Bad location and people kept eating them cold.
