Laminge - For Sale - One Crashed Blown XR8

Yep

Decided to put the Xr into a barrier along the Monash Fwy this morning.

Doing 80 in 100 zone, moved from centre lane to right (in 6th gear) hit oil patch, spun 180, and kissed right barrier with rear left!

No Photo's

So how do I go about prooving there was oil on the road?????

Holy sh!t, dude! Is the car a write off? More importantly, are you OK? The accident investigaors should be able to determine if the oil slick was the cause and what exactly happened. As long as you're OK that's the main thing.

Mate, you might be in luck. There was an item in today's Age about a truck leaking diesel yesterday for about 35k from, I think, the Domain Tunnel. Police are aware of it and there were prangs yesterday as a result. Haven't got the paper with me, but it's in the news section, maybe in one of the In Brief items.

Yours obviously wasn't the panel van in the picture in the same paper where the driver survived after wrapping it very nicely around a pole above the crash barriers.

Saw that this morning, it was cut in two, the driver was drunk, and the cops have been chasing him for 2 years!

Man, Laminge, I'm shocked. At least you're okay!! That's a damn fricken shame. I hope you can sort it out and get whoever was responsible for that oil leak.
