Not yet. George Dubya did say it would be a long campaign.
Latest news is that an Irish bin Laden follower has flown his hang-glider into tall building in England. No casualties in building. Window cleaners are attending to pilot.

Not so funny when your out of the front of the CBA building having a smoke and 7 firetrucks rock up and shut down all entrances
Doh!
Sorry it was bad timing. Hope all is well your end.
If this turns out to be a fully fledge epidemic (which it could be, keep it mind an incubation period of up to two months.) I hope we nuke the **** outta Afganistan. Enough is enough, in my opinion, the Taliban, by sheltering and assisting Al Quade (bah spelling) then Al Quade should be considered an Arm of the Taliban's military and consequently answerable as such.
This is a serious situation, but we must not give in to terror or hysteria. We must take all sensible precautions to protect ourselves from nuts and idiots sending soap powder through the mail, which is why I am presently putting all my mail through the washing machine with a load of clothes before opening it. This could save on soap powder. It also cuts down dramatically on my work and bills as I can't read the letters after they've been washed, so I'm going to keep doing it even after the current scare is over, unless I get sick of pulling tiny pieces of paper off my socks, but as my wife always puts a couple of Kleenex in every wash for that precise purpose I'm used to it.
I know the potential threat of the Anthrax disease is very serious, but on a lighter note I'm left wondering what the US band called Anthrax is going to do with themselves now. Anthrax is an 80's thrash band who are still going today. All the hoax stuff, the hysteria etc reminds me of their song 'Madhouse', from their album, titled 'Spreading the Disease' - apt, in a very odd way.

yeah, i was thinking about them...
their situation would suck right now. i guess they will lay low for a while and when all this is over go public again.
i haven't heard much of their stuff... there is so much great metal out there that i have never touched upon... but anyway!
i mean, i work for a state government department, where about 95% of our paperwork comes throught the mail. if anything happens, the mailroom staff will prevent it from going further, but they don't actually check every package. i think it's a matter of time before we get one of these packages because we have a lot of unhappy clients! i swear, we're freaking out there! this is not good... it's a form of mental torture we DO NOT NEED!
