Life in jail for Moorabbin police killers

I hope Debs and Roberts rot in hell.
From ABC News abc.net.au:
------------------------------------------
Vic police killers sentenced to life in jail

A Victorian Supreme Court judge has sentenced two men to jail for the murder of two police officers at Moorabbin in Melbourne's south-east nearly five years ago.

Bandali Debs, 49, has been sentenced to life with no minimum term.

Jason Roberts, 22, has been sentenced to life with a minimum of 35 years.

They were found guilty by a jury on New Years Eve 2002, for the fatal shootings of sergeant Gary Silk and senior constable Rodney Miller.

Officers Silk and Miller were investigating a series of armed robberies and were staking out a Moorabbin restaurant when they were murdered in August 1998.

Yes a very good result. A brilliant investigation from a determined group of Victorias finest.

DEBS and ROBERTS two animals that thought they were heroes and the rest of the world now know them to be gutless dogs.

The courage shown by the SILK and MILLER families has been incredible and inspiring.

Considering the state of our laughably named "Court of Law", I think these two got about as much as they could have, but in my eyes, still not enough.

As xa said though, I'm sure they'll be enjoying their new recreational activity time from inside.
