myxr6 had a gripe.
and said that all haiku was tripe.
well there's now other threads
to fulfill your request,
and now you can rhyme all you like.

Re: limerick thread

There once was a man who we will call Skaife
Who loved prawns and shoved them in his face
But the prawns were not good
So he ran as fast as he could
The time he spent in the crapper was a disgrace!

Re: limerick thread

Ode to the EA

Released was a car with so much expected,
Recalled the next day and hence was rejected,
Ford marketing cried "its multipoint injected!",
But more to the point - no V-8 detected!

The consumer grew weary of blue oval blunders,
Head gaskets, suspension, cars roasted in numbers,
"Car's in for a week" the Ford dealer mumbles,
"Stuff it, you keep it!" the Ford owner grumbles!

Landbarge
(Dedicated to Donut King)

There's a car Ford once produced in the years of old,
Was called the Ford Landau or so I'm told,
Painted in the finest of metallic grecian gold,
Its ornate grille looks so neat and flash completely bold,
It was a marque of luxury that simply broke the mould,
A wonder to Ford marketing why they never sold.

My rhyme meter does not detect a reading
It's an education in poetry you are needing
The wealth of info is huge
So don't be a stooge
Get out there and start heeding!
