OK, there is a rumor spreading around the general car-buying public about a limited edition 255kw XR8.

I have poeple telling me they will trade in their HSV's, houses, wives & whatever else, just to buy one...

I hope this is true... Ford, you will be making a very profitable decision if you decide to bring out this car.!!!

Will this be with the stroker engine or a seriously modded 5.0?

It will be a Stroker. The 5.0 must be near it's limit for a factory release engine at 220kW. It should start to even things up a bit but Ford better not think of taking a rest and get some more power on the way.I don't want to seem ungrateful but if ya want to get to the top ya gotta go hard.

Good point HSE2.With all this talk of a supposed stroker with more power it could make some wait. Still a grunty 5.0 mite still be what some would rather have.

I think Aussie Pete said that Tickford's production had lifted since the introduction of the 220kw XR8, I'm not sure how many cars they are doing per day.

Maybe Ford could release special colors for the Ltd XR8 say-
FTR Blue
GMS Silver
Mark Larkham Yellow
DJR Red or Yellow or Blue:D

I think they are selling them quicker than they are making them.

Someone said XR production has tripled this year. Dunno how true it is though!
