with all the focus on the new falcon, I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about the Fairlane? Personally, I would like to see the styling to slightly resemble the Lincolns in the US. Out of all of them I reckon the continetal looks the best. What are everyone elses thoughts?

BTW I was in the city the other day and saw an awesome looking KA. It had a mild body kit and the front lights were changed to a XR kinda style. Sounded pretty good to, probably just a good muffler though

I happen to have taken some pics of one of them cars you are takin about in Melb the other month.
And i must say that the R5 looks so much like it from the Frount.(here go's spyman and his rumours about this being our next Falcon.)

They are bench marking this with the VX,VY for VE the all new commy, as they think this is what will best rep the all new(not that rumour again)FALCON.

Don't know about the back end, but the front looks pretty nice, better than what we have at the moment. The headlights have a bit of Beema about them.

Thats a Lincoln LS guys, loosly based on the Jag S-Type which of course uses the DEW98(??) platform. It won Motor Trend Car of the Year 2000 I think.

G'day again

You hit the nail on the head when you say "DEW98" for we will be using a cheaper virgin of that platform for our 2005 Falcon.

It was shot in Port Melb last summer.

That is y GM is using it as a bench for VE.

And it is the only FORD that is not edge design,
and a good replacment for Falcon but only if we had of loved turus,thank god we didn't. :D
