List of Fords US V8+ engine specs

I couldn't find one easy with both units on it so I whipped this on up (it was nicely justified but it may look ugly after posting).

In particular note the 16 Valve 4.6 is very close to our 4.0 inline 6 in power and torque.

Also look at the 16 valve 5.4, obviously to get it to 5.4sc power levels, a 24 valve head and other work will be needed.

And the 6.8, I still think they should squeeze it into a LTD and call it the LTD unlimited, say with a build number of 50 world wide? 578Nm at a mere 3250, and with a compression of 9:1.

6.8L SOHC 20V V-10
Displacement 6.8L (415 CID)
Horsepower 310 hp @ 4250 (231) kw Power
Torque 425 lb/ft @ 3250 (576) Nm torque
Bore and Stroke (in.) 3.55 x 4.16

5.4L SOHC 16V V-8 Supercharged
Displacement 5.4L (330 CID)
Horsepower 380 @ 4,750 rpm (283) Kw Power
Torque 450 @ 3,250 rpm (610) Nm torque
Bore and Stroke (in.) 3.55 x 4.16

5.4L SOHC 16V V-8
Displacement 5.4L (330 CID)
Horsepower 260 @ 4500 (194) Kw power
Torque 350 @ 2500 (475) Nm Torque
Bore and Stroke (in.) 3.55 x 4.16

4.6L DOHC 32V V-8 Specifications
Displacement 4.6L (280cidd)
Horsepower 320 @ 6,000 rpm (239) kw power
Torque 317 @ 4,750 rpm (429) Nm Torque
Bore and Stroke (in.) 3.6 x 3.6

4.6L SOHC 16V V-8 Specifications
Displacement 4.6L (281 CID)
Horsepower 220 @ 4750 164 Kw power
235 @ 5250 (w/Dual Exhaust) 175 Kw power
Torque 265 @ 4000 359 Nm Torque
275 @ 4000 (w/Dual Exhaust) 372 Nm Torque
Bore and Stroke (in.) 3.6 x 3.6

The 4.6 16v spec you listed is for the F150 and LTD. The Mustang GT 4.6 16v is 260hp

You forgot the 3.9 V8 from the Thunderbird and Linclon LS

I think the V10 is the go - fits easier than the 8. And look at the torque! Put a set of headers and exhaust on and watch the kWs flow....
