Load Capacity?

Hey, does the new VY ute have a greater load capacity than the BA ute? This includes the normal utes, and XRs.

supposedly not. The VY doesnt have the one tonne capacity while the falcon does. whether the one tonne capacity is on ALL the falcon utes i am not shore about. But The VY doesnt have a greater load capacity, thats a fact!

not all falcon utes are one tonne.

as a rough guide
1000kg 1 tonne falcon ute
750kg standard falcon ute
500kg XR utes

No, you can get a one tonne ute with a styleside as well.

No. These are made Transit Engineering but are sold by some Ford dealers.

fordchick,
XR6 would not be rated at 1tonne because XRs are not avaliable with one tonne springs and the rims and tyre are not rated to carry one tonne. if your referring to a XR with a trayback they never come out of the factory like that but i have seen a few done
they look quite good!
they would however still only be 500or750kg rated
