Ok firstly I have a couple of things to say...

1. I know this probably should be in the Asylum but I was hoping for more people to see it, so the Pub is the best place

2. This is MOST DEFINATLY NOT a person attack on anyone by any means.

Ok now thats out of the way...In the past week I have started two threads which both have been locked. They are the following...

FPV decals and XR8

Ford thinking ahead!!

Ok now what I want to know is what is the policy that allows moderators to just lock threads when ever they want. I understand that someone has to run the show but neither thread was harmful or got to the point of personal attacks.

Both were legitimate threads that either brought up a genuine hypothetical scenario and the other that I thought would of interested a lot of people.

Im not making this thread to stir crap by the way. I just want to know what peoples opinions are.

Oh and with the thread about the XR8...I now admit that it wasn't a genuis move stating the plates of the car, but how else can it be identified, there are thousands of them.

And dont go on about police, RTA, theives etc...thats being a bit paraniod. If your car is going to get stolen the people are going to know about it before they read FF, even if they do read it in the first place.

Ok I hear what your saying BUT when you signed up did you read the terms and conditions. Not having a go at you at all because sometimes it frustrates me as well particularly certain threads which have been closed ( I have in the past pm'd the mod who closed them to ask why). He explained his reasons and although I did not personally agree I understood his reasoning behind it.

Anyway I think the first line pretty much sums it up.

I can see what you mean, especially the 2nd thread on Ford at Bathurst, but, you asked why they were closed? well, 'cause they can, and that my sON is A very POWERful thing to be able to sTRIP threads that are not suitable.

I can see whay both threads where closed

maybe a discussion like this should be held in the Donating members forums where there is no moderation

again get over it and PM the mod that closed it for his input

Well I have explained the reasons for the thread I closed already to fomoco4eva via PM when he PM'ed me to ask about it, I dod not recieve a PM back and therefore felt the issue closed. Perhaps if he needed further clarification he should have asked.

1 member in this thread is now an ex member, lets not make any more ex members out of this.

Yeah the issue was over for me...I just wanted to bring it up for other members to see as I had no idea at the time, just figured there was other people in the same boat.
