well yesterday Wagga finally has been infested with Locusts!
they are everywhere, millions of them.
i wish i had a camera to show you just how bad they are

ive decided not to drive anywhere unless i have to, cause they make a mess of your car and are a pain to get off!

its crazy at the moment, hopefully they dont stay too long!!
the front of every second car is Yellow!
so if you live in the country or are travelling near wagga look out!!!

it looks like its going to be a long summer full of locusts and dust storms!
just the thing for car lovers!

yup, out at work they're everywhere!

I drove home through them today, and the front airdam was so full of the bloody things that they were overflowing out of it. Front of the car was yellow, no kidding.

Next time i drive through them ill take pics to show you how bad they are!

They're heading south and will be in Victoria very soon is what I've read. Not good. Do they "hang around" in open land, or do they invade built up areas like the 'burbs as well?

They go anywhere they can. We've had to put screens up over the loading bay at work to stop them from getting.

Its about to storm here though so hopefully that will get rid of them a bit quicker.

Saw it on the news last night. It was certainly an interesting sight! They covered whole roads and also the whole ground at the golf club.

From what I hear it is mating season at the moment, and they will follow the heat in search of the hard ground needed for their mating.

Look out is all I can say.
