Excellent mate, bet you can't wait to crank her over for the first time with the new heart! We want bulk pics and dyno results!

Yeah, look just like my Hot Chilli Red ELXR8 Series 1 engine bay.
I'm guessing these are "before" shots.
On another note, I hate those stock tappet covers on the ELXR8 simple grey, If I even did an engine mod, I'd be changing the tappet covers to say chrome Ford Motorsport items.

We are aiming for around 240-250 at the fly, but we'll see how we go. The engine will remain a 302. Will take more pics when everything arrives back from the machine shop.
El2xr8 asked about cost... To be honest mate i have no idea unless i sat down and worked it all out, i've been buying bits and putting them away for nearly a year... Put it this way, everything is new except for block, crank, rods and flywheel.
I was wondering about the cost as I'm looking at maybe going much the same way with my EL, but not sure whether to go yours and sparkles way or leaving most of the donk standard externally, but with a Stroker crank when I rebuild it.
