Lord Of The Rings!!!

Excellent film , so good , even if you haven't read the books see it !!!!!!

The end is a bit of a downer but it makes you wana see the next lot !

This put Harry Potter where it should be ...... in the kids section !!!

The animation , the acting , the plot , its all superb!!!!

Thumbs up

i've been a fan since i was 8, when i first read the trilogy and i've been in anticipation of this movie since last year. let me say that i was shocked when i saw this movie. never had i thought that this interpretation would so closely resemble the author's text.

i can't wait to see it again, nor wait for the next installment!

That is a big rap fro a movie. Often movies that follow books end up being a disappointment. We had one reviewer reckon he need to eb woken up at the end but appart form that I haven't heard a bad word about this movie

The end is a bit stunted and a bit of an anti climax but this just makes you wanna see the others!!!!!!!

And guess what, the film was entirely made in New Zealand - and by New Zealanders.

Who needs Hollywood.:s6:

The sets looks sensational. Is it true they have made all 3 films already?

All three have been filmed (ie all the acting) .

They have the second in for the animation work and the third a bit later .

P.s I ain't gonna spoil it by telling you the end , yeah the books heavy reading but if the others stay true to the book like this one then they should be superb

P.p.s J-type you are so right just look at the British film scene in the last 10 years , Shallow Grave , Shopping , Trainspotting , Braveheart , Four Weddings , Notting Hill , Lock Stock and two smoking barrels , some may not paint a pretty picture of our fair isle but it makes dam good cinema!!!!!
