He wants to know how to go about getting a louder sound out of his AU 5litre spending the littlest amount possible, yet achieving a fair grunt...

blackout if u do a search on these forums there are plenty of threads already on how to make an exhaust louder without spending much money..

and the answer to ur prob very simple. remove the back resonator and replace it with a piece of piping.

well...theres loud, and then theres quality.

if you just want loud, do whatever was suggested above, if you want quality sound, you gotta spend the bucks to get the right system.

A tip will do nothing for loudness..

What Hamo said.. There's a big difference between loud, and a good note..

Spend the dosh, and get a performance exhaust from a proper exhaust place.. He'll get the note and the increased grunt.

Otherwise it'll end up sounding like a wet fart..
