LS1 SAS Dyno Day This Sunday March 3rd.

Ok this will give a few of us guys a chance to see the LS1 guys on the dyno a week before our run. Good variety of cars too. Just wondering who's interested in going. i don't want to be the only Fordforum member there. I need backup. So who's going and what time is everyone getting there.

Heres the details taken from LS1.com

Location:
Silverwater Automotive Services (SAS)
1/141 Silverwater Road, Silverwater

Start at 8am
do about 20 - 25 cars by 11am
Lunch and question time from 11-12.30 for BBQ and Q&A
finish cars from 12.30-3pm

i might be interested in going but not before 10am - mind you, this is a very big maybe. depends what i feel like doing on the day.

might even rock up after 12:30 for the second half

I was planning on going down for a sticky beak.... But I am seriously ill at the moment, and not sure if I will be able to make it.

C`mon guys your not embarrased by the serious power the ls1 puts out are ya-( Dyno doesn`t lie). There will be quite a few SS`s puting out @ 290-300KW and one or two @340-350KW N.A.

Yea they are pretty impressive on the dyno aren't they mate.. just a pity holdens brilliant engine management jumps on the brake pedal halfway down the 1/4 and those 350kW cars don't actually go any faster than the stockos with bolt-ons :oo1:

fair call motec didnt help me either although I think it might have something to do with the detachment of the harmonic blanacer that slowed me down off the lights for a flashin 32 sec pass:dead:
