cool Lucky Buggers

To all those who own turbo six falcons, I salute and envy you. I have just had an EF XR6 turbo 5 speed for the last 24 hours or so and all I can say is - WOW! I was honestly surprised with the amount of power it puts out. I really am looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of it, although, I think my wife is glad I gave it back. She complained her back hurt every time i touched the go pedal. Well, back to my auto naturally aspirated EF.

Happy boosting, Waity.

Re: Lucky Buggers

Well, long story short, he needed work done, I knew how and had time. He was desparate, I did work, I gave him some bits I drove it for a couple of hundred k's and got the mags which are now listed on ebay at http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....e=STRK:MESE:IT .

It was a sweet ride. vaguely considered bolting it up to my EF and seeing if he'd noticed. I figured he would though.

Re: Lucky Buggers

Nice deal on the rims.

Like I said, why not have a look at turboing ur EF yourself?

There are heaps of people who have turboed their Fords (or will be finished soon) on these forums.

Re: Lucky Buggers

There is only one reason why I won't turbo my EF. I have no money. If you fund the project, I will hapily agree to the turbo going on. :) I would very much enjoy owning a turbo, but, until I have a whole lot more money, it really isn't at tthe top of my priorities list. :)

Re: Lucky Buggers

How much power was it putting out? Comparable to the BA? Or much better

Re: Lucky Buggers

I honestly couldn't tell you. I have not seen a dyno reading for this thing, nor have I been in a BA turbo. It was runnin 4 pound of boost if that helps at all. Compared to the twin turbo 300 zx I went for a strap in yesterday, it had nothin, but compared to any other car I have drivin, it his hell fast.

Re: Lucky Buggers

I have 202rwkw and an auto with stock 3.27 single spinner and I managed a 13.67 at 105mph with no traction through 1st and half through second on boost.

Turbo 6's are lots of fun!
