My missus gets these Myer Direct Catalouges. There's a section with clothing/items relating to booze.. (Jack/Guinness/bundy etc) and Cars. Yes you guessed it.. Phucking Holdens!!!
Here's me thinking.. "Oh cool.. Wonder what Ford stuff they have" You guessed it again.. NOTHING!!!!
Now I have my preferred outlet for all things Ford, (Yup those wonderful folks at the FDC.. :D ) but for Joe Schmoe they'd get these catalouges and think.. "Oh sweet.. I can get some Holden gear from here.." Lets get focused Ford.. (literally if you like..

) and get our name into such catalouges and stores like Granny Mays and such. Promotion is the key to success. Lets get the Ford brand to every damn shop we can!! Be it online, mail order or shopping centre...

i know for a fact that some of the coles/myer groups will not take Ford merchandise due to internal politics. A certain division of the coles/myer group is the major sponser of a Holden V8 team.
How do i know this? well, lets just say i know a few people on the inside.
BTW, i can't get the scanner to run. I'll try again tomorrow.

Good point.. even still surely from a pure business sense it's worth it for Ford to push these things..

Yeh Come to think of it every time I walk past a Granny Mays store it is full of Holden Shirts, hats and lots of other things!!!

Someone might like to explain to me how the hell my local Holden dealer is selling DJR stuff, I was watching Bathurst and on comes a commercial showing their HRT stuff and to my amazement they showed some DJR stuff. Its just not right, I don't know if I could even walk in there and hand over money to someone at a Holden Dealership.

That's because all Holden fans follow HRT and buy all their merchandise whilst Ford fans support all Ford teams but buy the merchandise of the many different teams. eg I have an FTR hat, A GMS hat, a DJR shirt. :D
