I was wondering if anyone knows any URL's so I can make my own site. Its going to be nothing special, just stuff really. Ive heard of people using geocities (??) but I dont know whats going on with that.
I must state that I am not a dumb ass when it comes to html and computers in general, but I would prefer something nice and easy. Basically a cut and paste job. Oh and I dont want to pay for anything because its really just somehting to fill in spare time with.
And what does microsoft frontpage do exactly? Can I use that and upload pages?
Thanks for your help.
Al

Bravenet aren't too bad although they do have ads, you can use Frontpage and upload it there. Then use a redirector to personalise your site with your own name or whatever you want to name it.
Frontpage you just belt out what you want, add the images you want and it does all the HTML for you. It's quicker than belting it out yourself, but I like doing it myself personally.
MS Frontpage isn't the best app for webpage/site design but is fairly bomb proof and easy to get so give it a shot.
Your ISP would have some Free Webspace why not chase that up. No pain in the arse popups and crap that way.
Or you could donate to Ford Forums and get some webspace! Sure it'll cost you, but you'd be helping out the site...
damn i checked that out and haven't these forums chnaged over the past couple of years. I can remember when the site would do anything for some cash and now there are different price brackets. No offense by the way.
I might just look at something else thats free, I dont need 30mb (i dont think). Does anyone know any?
